Responsibility Statement

Responsibility of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Advanced Catalytic Materials & Energy Conversion (JACMEC) must ensure that their work represents original research that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors must present accurate data and provide sufficient details and references to allow others to replicate the research.

All sources, figures, tables, and previously published materials must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form is strictly unacceptable. All listed authors should have made significant contributions to the research and must approve the final manuscript before submission.

Authors are also responsible for disclosing any financial support, conflicts of interest, or funding sources related to the research. If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors must immediately notify the editorial office so that appropriate corrections or retractions can be issued.

Responsibility of Editors

Editors of JACMEC are responsible for maintaining the quality, integrity, and academic standards of the journal. Editorial decisions are made based on the scientific merit, originality, relevance, and clarity of the submitted manuscripts.

Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process while maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or personal beliefs.

Editors are responsible for selecting qualified reviewers and ensuring that ethical publishing standards are maintained. If ethical concerns such as plagiarism, duplicate submission, or data fabrication are suspected, the editorial team will take appropriate action following publication ethics guidelines.

Responsibility of Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the scientific quality of the journal. They must evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially. Reviewers should provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their research and presentation.

Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share or use the information for personal advantage. If reviewers identify potential ethical issues such as plagiarism or duplicate publication, they should inform the editor immediately.

Reviewers should decline the review if they have conflicts of interest or if they feel unqualified to review the manuscript.

Responsibility of the Publisher

The publisher of JACMEC is committed to supporting ethical scholarly publishing and maintaining the integrity of the academic record. The publisher ensures that the editorial and peer-review processes are conducted transparently and fairly.

In cases of research misconduct, plagiarism, or ethical violations, the publisher will work with the editorial board to investigate and take appropriate actions, including corrections, retractions, or editorial notices when necessary.

The publisher also ensures the long-term accessibility, archiving, and dissemination of published articles for the global research community.
