Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Journal of Advanced Catalytic Materials & Energy Conversion (JACMEC)

Originality

The Journal of Advanced Catalytic Materials & Energy Conversion (JACMEC) requires that all submitted manuscripts represent original and unpublished work. Authors must ensure that their submissions are not under consideration elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given through appropriate citations and references. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism or duplicate publication, is strictly prohibited and will result in rejection of the manuscript or further ethical investigation.

Data Integrity

Authors must present their research data honestly and accurately. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of experimental data, images, or results is considered unethical and unacceptable. Authors should retain raw data related to their research and provide it when requested by the editorial office for verification purposes.

Ethical Approval

Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive biological materials must receive ethical approval from a recognized institutional ethics committee or review board. The approval details should be clearly stated in the manuscript. Authors must ensure that all procedures comply with relevant ethical guidelines and regulations.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research study. All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work. Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately.

Conflict of Interest

Authors are required to disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence or appear to influence the results or interpretation of their research. Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest helps maintain transparency and trust in the scientific publishing process.

Peer Review and Confidentiality

JACMEC follows a fair, objective, and confidential peer-review process. Editors and reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and should not share or discuss the content with unauthorized individuals. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive and unbiased evaluations to support the integrity of the publication process.

Ethical Misconduct and Integrity

The editorial team of JACMEC is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity. Any allegations of misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate submission, data manipulation, or unethical research practices, will be carefully investigated. If misconduct is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate actions including manuscript rejection, article retraction, or notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions.
